Malossi designers have studied two different ratios for second, third and fourth gear, calculated specifically for engines more focused on torque, in the Sport version 6716696 (Z10-14-17-20 cal15), or for engines prepared for the track, in the Racing version 6716207 (Z10-15-18-20 cal 15).
The Malossi multiple gear is perfectly interchangeable with the original and does not require any modification to its housing. Furthermore, thanks to the obsessive search for the correct sizing of the tooth, it is able to work perfectly in combination with all the other gears. The choice of this precise module, in fact, has made it possible to keep the wheelbase unchanged. This high-quality technical solution guarantees considerable reliability and a significant reduction in gearbox noise.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- The Malossi Vespa multiple gear is made exclusively with materials that exceed the very strict standards imposed by our technicians and systematically verified with very strict tests and trials.
-The final processing is performed on numerically controlled machines, after which the Malossi multiple gear is subjected to a complete thermochemical cementation treatment at 900°C, which gives it the required hardness and resistance.
-The size and quality of the finished gear are finally verified on Zeiss three-dimensional control machines.
