These brake blocks have been designed and tested by our technicians to easily overcome the stresses imposed by exaggerated use and mainly for competition vehicles that require considerable deceleration and constant performance at higher temperatures.
For this reason, Malossi brake shoes are made of a special magnesium aluminum alloy, with a special friction material with metal fibers inside that improve its resistance asbestos-free according to the new EEC standards.
The new friction material compounds are environmentally friendly, offer enormously above average characteristics and excellent anti-noise characteristics, ensuring modular and progressive braking, shorter braking distances and extremely limited mileage consumption of friction material. The miter cuts for dust discharge have been studied and tested in four years of scooter competitions.
