The Malossi control units also allow the rev limiter present on the standard control units to be eliminated: in this way the power and torque of the engine can be fully exploited even at the highest speeds up to 20,000 rpm. The Malossi control units have capacitive discharge and therefore allow the emission of disturbances during the voltage discharge to be limited to a minimum; they deliver an almost perfect voltage peak on the spark plug (35,000 - 50,000 volts based on the engine speed) and give very high discharge voltages and discharge currents with surprising consistency as the number of engine revolutions varies.
TC UNIT R.P.M. CONTROL
On these control units there is a microswitch, which can be positioned as desired on your vehicle in a sheltered place, which activates the rev limiter of your engine. The number of revolutions at which the rev limiter intervenes is adjustable depending on the type of your engine. To adjust the speed at which it intervenes, referring to the odometer of your vehicle, and acting on the micropotentiometer on the control unit it is possible to adapt the intervention point of the limiter. The adjustment potentiometer has considerable sensitivity, so it is necessary to make very small rotations during the adjustment phase until reaching the insertion point of the limiter suitable for your scooter.
