POLINI HI-Speed is an electronic device designed for E-bike motors in order to circumvent the motor stopping at 25 km/h and consequently increase active assistance by fully exploiting the performance that the motor can offer. Polini HI-Speed is very easy to install as the connectors interface directly with the original ones while maintaining their water resistance. Installation takes place in a few minutes without opening the engine or removing the original seals and is totally invisible as its housing uses the internal space of the engine cover. It is totally reversible and you can return to the original configuration in a few minutes. Without battery as it is self-powered.
For BOSCH Smart System, by default it has unlocking always active and the correct speed is indicated by the last 2 digits on the display, for example 12.5 corresponds to 25 km/h.
For Brose and Specialized, they are activated via the WALK button and show the correct speed.
For Specialized with Mahle engine, the speedometer will always show half your actual speed, the same thing for km. To know the exact speed and km, just double it.
Extra Notes:
The HI-Speed for the Bosch Smart system makes the bike more responsive thanks to a different sensor reading by slightly shifting the engine power delivery curve.
The HI-Speed for Specialized and for Brose does not require removing the engine from the bike as it connects directly to the display.
