The anti-explosion thermal clutch bells are equipped with a finned reinforcement ring for the dissipation of heat which develops mainly during starts from a standstill and when the vehicle accelerates from low speeds.

This is a technological innovation derived from research carried out in the context of scooter competitions.

Here is the principle on which it is based:

the greater radiating surface considerably lowers the operating temperature of the bell, considerably increasing the life of the clutch unit.

The clutch unit is enormously stressed when driving around town, when starting uphill and when exiting tight hairpin bends with two people on board.
