All the technical innovations of the Polini Evolution Gear Carter have been designed to increase resistance in the most demanding uses and guarantee robustness in the case of racing uses.

The new crankcase is characterized by a modern and integrated design with various technical features:

Increase in bearing seat sections to increase rigidity.

Revised wheel axle bearing with a larger diameter.

All pressed roller bearings and oil seals with spring loaded radial sealing lip.

5 hex head screws compared to the 4 hex head screws in the original reducer.

The gasket that seals the two crankcases is made up of a layer of aluminum to increase rigidity and two surface layers of rubber for sealing which guarantee its durability over time.

The Polini Evolution gear cover for Piaggio mopeds can be mounted both with the original gears and with Polini gears (code 202.1425 and 202.1427 or 202.1426) combined with the shims code 246.058 (Attention: after mounting the Polini gear cover, the "bicycle" mode will not can be used).
