Scooter Racing Malossi mufflers have been designed and built with a single goal: to achieve the maximum possible performance in combination with the cylinder for which they were designed. Each evolutionary step of the Malossi exhaust systems is the result of fluid dynamic studies capable of determining with absolute precision the ideal shapes and dimensions of the Scooter Racing mufflers.
Only perfect mufflers characterized by an absolute homogeneity of production can boast the Malossi coat of arms. The production technology, in fact, is common to all Scooter Racing and the only differences between them are found exclusively in the division of the cones.
All Scooter Racing mufflers are made from sheet metal plates with an exact and constant thickness of 0.8mm, are laser cut, welded with maniacal precision and equipped with a calibrating nozzle whose dimensions are subject to the very strict tolerances necessary to guarantee that the pressure inside inside the muffler is always kept in the correct values.
The development of Scooter Racing mufflers goes hand in hand with that of Malossi cylinders and to obtain maximum performance it is essential to always match the muffler to the cylinder for which it was designed.
All Scooter Racing bikes are equipped with an aluminum silencer, anodized Nitro blue.
mhr TEAM 3 and mhr BIG BORE Ø 52
MHR Team 3 and MHR Big Bore Ø 52 are the NEW names of the Scooter Racing mufflers intended for the Testa Rossa Flanged Mount cylinders, 70 and 94cc respectively, and are characterized by a totally new cone profile, now facing upwards, and for the even more dynamic appearance.
The Malossi engineers achieved a considerable increase in power and focused particularly on rounding off its range of use, in order to broaden its field of action and find an effective setting more quickly. The rpm allowed for the engine has risen and expresses the maximum power values around 14,100 rpm for the 70cc, and 13,800 rpm for the 94cc.
The cylinder attachment system includes a four-hole light alloy fitting, designed to allow perfect passage of the burnt gases, optimizing the fluid dynamic flow. This solution derives directly from the one adopted by the MHR Team 2 mufflers, while it is completely new for the Ø 52 Big Bore version.
The connection system of the silencer in Nitro blue anodized aluminum has also been simplified, now connected to the expansion of the muffler thanks to an elegant and light system with a single fixing screw.
