"OVER RANGE" New Malossi transmission system.
This new system is based on the new fixed pulley of the Fixed Pulley torque corrector which has a larger diameter and absolutely advanced technological features. The larger diameter of this pulley allows for a significantly higher excursion of the transmission ratio compared to the original pulley which has a significantly lower external diameter.
The Malossi technicians have also taken care of the realization of this pulley down to the smallest details using special materials and a particular type of thermochemical treatment which gives it a very high resistance to wear and a high mechanical resistance. This new fixed pulley has been designed to have perfect functioning when coupled to the Malossi torque corrector (Torque Driver), having the same diameter as the fixed pulley.
In order to fully exploit the range of the new torque corrector unit and the powers available today on racing vehicles, a new Malossi notched belt in Kevlar® (K) has been introduced with an increased section and updated length to ensure in all conditions of operation maximum efficiency.
To complete the renewal of the transmission system and to exploit its exceptional technical characteristics, the Multivar variator has also been updated, equipping it with new tracks for the rollers and a new hub. This new variator is the evolution of the previous generations, born from the many years of experience acquired on the racing circuits and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, allowing to obtain technical results at the highest levels.
The Delta Clutch patented adjustable clutch and the reinforced Malossi Wing Clutch Bell are provided to complete the OVER RANGE system (these products are not included in the kit).
