When overhauling an engine, it is mandatory to replace both the oil seals as well as the main bearings as they support the crankshaft and turn at high revs. That's why for a better and specific revision of the crankshaft for the Vespa PX-PE 125-150-200, Polini has created a special kit.
The Polini crankshaft overhaul kit is complete with oil seals and bearings and is perfectly interchangeable with the original spare parts.
The oil seals are made of FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) to withstand the highest thermal stresses and thanks to the significantly lower friction coefficient, they guarantee lower dispersions and at the same time keep the temperatures lower. The bearings for the crankshaft are one in steel with a nailed cage and one with rollers.
The Polini crankshaft overhaul kit is perfect for the original engines but also perfectly adapts to the upgraded engines; they ensure a longer life than the standard ones. The two oil seals can also be purchased separately.
