The constant commitment of Polini Motori in track competitions has allowed the creation of the new special front and rear shock absorbers “EVOLUTION SHOCKS” for Piaggio Zip scooters.
They have been designed in collaboration with Paioli but have been developed directly on the track by the Polini Scooter Team.
The Polini “EVOLUTION SHOCKS” shock absorbers stand out for their advanced technical solutions that allow an easy set-up, also improving the scooter’s handling, cornering, performance and, above all, driving safety.
They are available for sale in pairs, front and rear, but they can also be purchased individually.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Extension adjustment via knob on 20 positions with effective hydraulic variation of 90%.
- Compression adjustment via coaxial system to separate high and low speeds with effective hydraulic variation over 270%.
- Shock absorber interaxis adjustment with safety lock and without the aid of 23mm adjustment keys (only for the rear mono).
- Cylinder tube and tank tube in hard anodized aluminum to ensure heat exchange, low friction and high resistance.
- Minimized tank to reduce weight, friction and bulk to a minimum, while maintaining high performance.
- Special lubricant of aeronautical origin to guarantee durability and consistency of performance, both at low and high temperatures.
