The Polini Original Air Filters are made of high efficiency flexible polyurethane foam with a cross-linked polyester base.

Polini air filters for Honda and Peugeot mopeds are composed of two layers of sponge; a finer one of light blue color with porosity of 60 PPI and a more open one of black color with porosity of 30 PPI.

The fine layer filters only the smaller particles, maintaining its characteristics for longer as they do not come into contact with the larger particles which have not passed the pre-filtration carried out by the primary layer. The external surface stands out for being corrugated, offering greater entry of air flows but at the same time retaining 50% more coarse dust.

Filter efficiency according to European Standards EN779 grade G3-G4; with weight efficiency greater than 90% and in particular more than 50% with particles of 1 micron. Greater capacity to retain dust is obtained by impregnating the filter with specific oil for sponge filters. Possibility to regenerate and clean the filter by washing and drying.
