The history of the company dates back to 1893, when MAGURA Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG was founded as a repair workshop for agricultural equipment and machines. This was followed in 1923 by the invention of the straight pull control lever for motorbikes, which led to the partnership with BMW that continues to this day.
